April 10, 2026 Petra Cares invites you to help young people who have aged out of foster care become automotive technicians, warranty clerks and title clerks.
The Petra Cares Gala Friday April 10th, 2026 has only a few tables still available. Every year, thousands of young people age out of foster care and are left with nowhere to live and have limited skills to support themselves. 80% of these young people will find themselves homeless, incarcerated or dead within a few years. Petra Cares was formed to provide a better path. Petra Cares provides the tools, training, and support to build meaningful automotive careers and futures filled with dignity and purpose. Since 2023, we have had 148 students go through our program and we are proud of our 72% graduation and 78% job placement rates.
