On July 8, 2026, Petra Cares welcomed supporters, community partners, and local leaders to celebrate the opening of our new facility at 11629 Telge Road, Cypress, Texas 77429.
Guests toured our expanded campus and learned about the life-changing work of Petra Cares. Our new facility expands opportunities for young adults transitioning out of foster care and homelessness throughout Greater Houston.
As a Houston nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives, Petra Cares provides hands-on automotive technician training, career readiness, mentorship, and supportive services that empower young adults to achieve independence. Our new home creates more room for training, mentorship, and opportunity, allowing us to expand our programs and help even more students build successful careers in the automotive industry.
